This is a list of various relevant projects, both ongoing and planned, that could have important synergies with SASIR.

VISTA - Visible and Infrared Survey Telescope for Astronomy. Currently operating at ESO's Paranal Observatory.

LSST - Large Synoptic Survey Telescope. It is planned to start operating in 2020.

EUCLID - Space-based Infrared mission to explore dark matter and dark energy. Planned to launch in 2019.

LIGO - Laser Interferometer Gravitational-Wave Observatory. Currently operating at two sites: Livingstone Louisiana, and at the Hanford Observatory in Washington.

HAWC - High-Altitude Water Cherenkov Gamma-Ray Observatory. Under construction at the Sierra negra in Puebla, Mexico.
